As Head of Sales Austria, you will be responsible to coordinate and enables the success of your local sales team. In this position you lead and develop the Austrian sales organization and have direct responsibility of all its activities. You work in straight collaboration with Regional Managing Director Central Europe by defining sales budget, targets, goals, and relevant commercial strategies and in alignment with corporate’s objectives and guidelines. **Your responsibilities**:

- Leads and develops the Austrian sales organization and its people according to strategy
- Creates, plans, and implements local sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with regional and global sales strategy
- Achieves & implements sales targets in respect of both budgets, sales efficiency, and profitability
- Ensures profitable business growth by maximizing market penetration
- Guarantee high level satisfaction and strong partnership for key customer while developing further relationships with existing and new customers
- Collaborates closely with all internal stakeholders as product groups, marketing, and operations
- Oversees and participates to quality assessment and performance improvement activities
- Managing effective operations and assure agreed services are maintained through efficient business and support functions
- Makes sure that offices follow important guidelines regarding Integrity and business ethics
- Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed
- Coaches, motivates, and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies

**Your background**:

- Requires a minimum of a degree in engineering (preferable in electronics or mechatronics or equivalent discipline) or at least 10-15 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong generalist with good understanding of multiple functional disciplines, mostly industrial automation, marketing, and finance related
- Broad experience with selling and supporting industrial automation projects
- Experience in a sales or sales supporting function for technical products. Previous experience in industrial automation industry is an advantage
- Experience in senior leadership role and affinity to develop both organization, teams, and people
- Strong commercial acumen for business with strategic mindset, open and customer-oriented personality
- Demonstrable experience in developing strategies and business plans
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize even under pressure and in agile working environment. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Native speaker in German, fluent in English
- Willingness to travel up to the 40%
