Join the automation team at B&R- a member of the ABB Group.This position reports toFinance ManagerYour role and responsibilities• Reporting directly to the Division CFO
• Strategic and operational leadership and development of the Accounting & Reporting department (including Treasury and Asset Management) with over 20 employees
• Ensuring the proper execution of all accounting processes for 24 international entities in accordance with corporate policies and legal requirements (based on US GAAP and Local GAAP)
• Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, internal stakeholders, and auditors
• Maintaining effective internal controls (R2R, TRE) and procedures in collaboration with the Internal Controls department
• Implementing, developing, and optimizing accounting processes and systems as part of Finance Transformation Programs 'Central-Finance'
• Organizing Divisional reporting to the Group (responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and consolidation of all Group companies)
• Coordinating Group insurance matters at the Division level
• Coordinating tax topics (direct/indirect taxes) in collaboration with external consultantsQualifications for the role10 years of relevant professional experience in Accounting, including leadership experience, as well as experience in auditing firms and international companiesCompleted degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related fieldKnowledge of accounting and deep understanding of accounting principles and practices in a corporate environmentExperience with internal control systemsPractical experience in team leadership, development, and project managementStrong proficiency in SAP (S4/HANA), MS Office, and ideally ABB-ReportingStrong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and resilienceVery good German and English language skills (English is the corporate language)More about usAt B&R – a member of the ABB Group, you can expect an exciting and challenging job with an individually tailored introductory training.
