Job Description

The Operations Manager II is responsible for coaching and supervising a group of Operations Managers and/or Team Leaders. This position is responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, meeting service level agreements and achieving financial expectations.

Weâre looking for an Operations Manager to support a State Based Government Contract based in Brisbane providing support to everyday Australians.

We are looking for a confident people leader with experience in complex delivery environments, someone that is ready to seize every opportunity we put in front of them to take their career, our people and client to the next level. 

You will be responsible for the overall performance of a diverse contact centre delivering a broad set of objectives against internal and external KPIâs, as well as being a conductor of the orchestra of system, process, people, customers and financial outcomes. 

  

Key Role Details:

  • Start date of 1st of April

  • Operational Hours: 8am to 5pm

  • Location: Centrally located in the heart of Brisbane, 100 metres from Central Station

  • Full training provided

  • Previous call centre management experience is essential to succeed

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities that inspire and motivate staff

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Professional work manner and one that facilitates an environment where all staff can reach their full potential

  • Knowledge of call centre technologies and project management methodologies

  • Accountability and Time Management are second nature

  • Ability to analyse data and present key findings

  • Experience with employee health and wellbeing programs

  • Demonstrable expertise in CX

  • Client relationship management

  • A passion for developing inclusive, high functioning cultures

  • Provide Leadership that motivates teams to achieve performance and quality targets.

  • Directly manage Team Leaders and provide coaching and support to ensure they can perform their roles effectively. 

  • Partner with internal departments to deliver solutions, including Workflow, People Solutions, Shared Services, Business Operations, Finance.

  • Build rapport and meet regularly with client to discuss account performance, any client concerns, continuous improvement strategies.

  • Communicate vision, strategy, and requirements of the client to all staff.
