TF Certifiers + Consultants is a leading private certification and building surveying firm in Adelaide. We work on a diverse range of projects, from large-scale residential developments to complex commercial and industrial builds, ensuring compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC) and related legislation. As we continue to grow, we're seeking motivated professionals who can contribute their expertise and innovative thinking to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Certification & Compliance: Assess and certify building applications in accordance with the NCC and other relevant codes and regulations.
  2. Expert Consultation: Provide clear, expert advice to clients, architects, and developers on compliance matters and innovative solutions that align with legislative intent.
  3. Inspections & Audits: Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to refine processes and improve compliance procedures.
  5. Leadership (For Senior Applicants): Assume leadership responsibilities, mentor junior staff, and manage complex, multi-faceted projects.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Experience & Accreditation:
    1. A background in building certification, surveying, or compliance is essential.
    2. We prefer candidates with Level 1 or Level 2 accreditation (as defined by Australian industry standards). For those without formal accreditation, equivalent practical experience and a robust understanding of compliance standards will be strongly considered.
  2. Technical Expertise:
    1. In-depth knowledge of the NCC, BCA, and relevant state/territory legislation.
    2. A practical mindset that balances strict compliance with innovative, defensible design solutions.
  3. Analytical & Communication Skills:
    1. Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to communicate complex regulatory information clearly.
  4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

What We Offer:

    1. A salary package aligned with current industry benchmarks, currently ranging from AUD $87,000 to $130,000 per annum based on experience and role complexity. Senior roles with leadership responsibilities may command higher remuneration.
