Institute for Communication Management and Media
Fulltime, 40 hours/week
Starting December 01, 2023, and ending after 6 years

You plan to further explore the effects of CSR, sustainability or diversity communication? You wish to analyze transformative aspects of organizational and strategic communication?
Then become an engaged member of our creative, international and inspiring team at the Department of Business Communication

What to expect:

  • As a member of our team, you will actively participate in research, teaching and administration.
This involves
- participation in research projects,
- international publishing and presentation activities,
- independent teaching 4 SWS / semester,
- examination activities, supervision and support of students,
- participation in evaluation activities and administrative tasks at the department,
- third mission / engagement.

What you have to offer:

  • PhD in communication studies or related field (i.e., Psychology, Social Sciences),
- in-depth knowledge of quantitative methods, empirical social research and statistical data analysis,
- teaching experience in the area of organizational communication / strategic communication; didactic competences & creativity; and you are prepared to use multimedia teaching and learning formats and innovative pedagogies,
- excellent English-skills (German proficiency is of advantage),

  • IT-Skills: MS Office, SPSS, preferably R,
- experience in publishing & presenting internationally,
- knowledge of university processes and structures,
- interest in developing your own research focus and pursuing your habilitation project,
- flexibility, commitment, creativity and engagement,

  • Willingness to use multimedia teaching methods: You are prepared to use multimedia teaching and learning formats.

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €4, times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on equivalent prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
