Institute for Political Economy of Public Policy
40 hours/week (Assistant Professor, non-tenure track) or 30 hours/week (Teaching and research associate)

Teaching responsibilities: You will be contributing to the institute's research methodology courses on the bachelor and/or masters level

Research: You will conduct research in the aforementioned fields and publish in political science journals and journals in related disciplines

Organizational duties:You will take over and participate in organizational and administrative tasks of the institute

Supervision: You will be (co)supervising bachelor and/or masters theses.
For teaching and research associate (pre-doc) positions:
Writing a dissertation:You will be investigating your research topic and spending a third of your working hours on writing your dissertation.

Academic degree and experience (pre-doc position): You have a diploma/master's degree in Economics, Political Science or related disciplines that qualifies you for enrollment in a doctoral program at WU. You already have an idea for a promising dissertation project.

Academic degree and experience (post doc position):You hold a PhD in Political Science or Economics and have a lively research agenda

Research experience: You have strong quantitative research skills and advanced knowledge of methodology.

Coding skills: You have advanced knowledge in Stata, R, Python or similar programming languages.

Language skills: You have excellent written and spoken English as well as communication skills, knowledge of German is considered a plus.

Willingness to use multimedia teaching methods:You have experience in using multimedia teaching and learning formats or are willing to learn.
