The position:


For our Regional Therapeutic Area Management Group in Clinical Operations we are looking for a personality who maintains functional oversight and overview for all trials in all RCV countries within the respective therapeutic area and manages the specific therapeutic area Clin Ops project managers involved in the clinical trials that are under the management of the RCV office.


Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Direct the Therapeutic Area Unit within the Regional Clinical development from Phase I to Phase IV
  • Optimally address speed, quality and efficiency of preparation, conduct, analyzing and reporting of Clinical Trials and Development Programs within the definitions set by legal and regulatory boundaries as well as scientific and ethical standards
  • Support continuous improvement of internal processes, tools and solutions; management of internal and external interfaces (CROs)
  • Coordination and proactive planning of capacities/resources within the group
  • Controlling and harmonization of trial budget

Requirements:

  • University Degree (MD, MSc/PhD in biological/natural sciences)
  • Experience in line or functional people management/ leadership with the ability to inspire others
  • Business fluent English, fluency in German is an asset
  • Proven track record in Clinical Operations (management of international clinical trials)
  • Superb communication & conflict management skills

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 85,000. gross annual salary (full time) [as well as a variable bonus].
