Tasks:

  • Research in growth and characterization of the electronic structure of 2D materials
  • Angle
- and spin-resolved photoemission spectroscopy measurements

  • Maintenance of ultrahigh vacuum equipment (molecular beam epitaxy)
  • Teaching
  • Coding
  • Instrument automation

Your profile:

  • Completion of a master or diploma curriculum in one of these fields: electronic structure, epitaxy, scanniung probe techniques, ultrahigh vacuum
  • Skillful and responsible in experimental work
  • Experience in the following scientific fields: electronic properties, photoemission, spectroscopy, growth
  • Very good skills in German and English communication and writing
  • Interest in research in the field as well as supervision and work with students
  • Very good communicative skills and team competences and innovative ability
