The University of Vienna, Faculty of Chemistry, is home of the Vienna Doctoral School in Chemistry (DoSChem).

DoSChem is the largest doctoral training program in Austria focusing on the field of chemistry and closely related sciences by bringing together more than 200 doctoral students and over 50 principal investigators.

Our goal is to train excellent scientists and to provide an open-minded environment that allows them to connect with each other and to experience a scientifically rich environment to carry out interdisciplinary and curiosity-driven research.


Duration of employment: 3 year/s

Extent of Employment: 30 hours/week

Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: -48 VwGr. B1 Grundstufe (praedoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

Profile:


2 Master's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or closely related fields and knowledge in materials chemistry, electrochemistry and experience in the area of nanoporous inorganic materials and their characterization.

3 Master of science (chemistry, food chemistry, biology, pharmacy, nutritional sciences or similar). Experience with analytical-chemical and toxicological methods including cell culture work is advantageous.
