European Operations Assistant Manager

A small but growing Computer / IT Consulting firm, with headquarters based in the U.S.A., is in search of a European Operations Assistant Manager for its newly opened European office in Vienna, Austria.

Be a part of this exciting 15-year-old company and its expansion in Europe where you'll have an opportunity to grow in the position alongside the organization's growth.

In this role, you will function as the key contact in Austria/Europe where you will be responsible for supporting leadership in developing and closing sales opportunities, increasing the overall client base month over month, creating brand awareness and developing relationships in the local business community.

Tasks

What you'll be doing:

  • Support business needs by serving as the contact person in Austria with intimate knowledge of cultural nuances
  • Collaborate with leadership in the development of a sales plan to breakin to the Austrian business market and develop new customer relationships
  • Help develop and follow budgetary guidelines
  • Schedule a variety of business development opportunities with key decisionmakers to increase sales opportunities
  • Act as the single point of contact for our current European clients for all types of requests.
  • Create brand awareness of the organization

Requirements:

What you bring to the table:
Must be fluent in English and German

Entrepreneurial spirit with a go-getter attitude

Able to work independently, with support from U.S. operations

Communication skills, active listening, and client care are critical for success

Flexibility and adaptability

Ability to learn new software / ERP /CRM systems to manage our schedules and related tickets

Interest in developing connections across the American community in Vienna, specifically business operations and key players

Strong time management and prioritization skills
