Institute for Human Resource Management
40 hours/week, after 8 months 20 hours/week
Starting October 01, 2023, and limited until September 30, 2027


For the first 8 months, the normal weekly working time is 40 hours and will then be reduced to 20 hours per week until the end of the term.


What to expect:

Independent research: The position enables you (1) to advance ongoing work in the publication process, (2) to set up new projects, independently and in collaboration with other faculty members of the institute, (3) to prepare and submit competitive research grants as principal investigator, and (4) to develop a publication record covering Common Good HRM.

Teaching & Student support: You will participate in the teaching activities of the Institute for Human Resource Management and (co-)supervise Bachelor's and Master's theses.

Organizational and administrative support: As a post-doc member of the Institute for Human Resource Management, you will participate in administrative and self-governance processes at the institute.

Networking: You will present your research at international conferences and collaborate with other (international) scholars within and outside our institute. You will also participate in national and international networking activities and thus expand your own network.

What you have to offer:

  • You hold a PhD in management.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of English, as well as German.
  • Published articles in Ajournals on Common Good HRM are a strong advantage.
  • You have research experience in Common Good HRM.
  • You have experience in teaching related to HRM.
  • You have experience in the supervision of HRM related Bachelor theses
  • You are willing to use multimedia teaching methods (e.g. distance or blended learning formats).
  • You are familiar with MS Office, SPSS, and other relevant software.
  • You work independently, show initiative, and have good selforganization skills.
  • Beyond any formal requirements, we are looking for an enthusiastic, curious team player who is passionate about research and willing to take on responsibility.

The minimum monthly gross salary amounts to €4, times per year). This salary may be adjusted based on equivalent prior work experience. In addition, we offer a wide range of attractive social benefits.
