The Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law is a research and teaching institution of the Faculty of Law established in 2017.

We are a young and committed team looking for academic support in building up the research field Innovation and Public Law within the department.

We offer an international and interdisciplinary environment, a creative working atmosphere, further education opportunities, and an adequate starting salary.

Duration of employment: 6 year/s

Extent of Employment: 40 hours/week

Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: -48 VwGr. B1 lit. b (postdoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

**Job Description: - Developing and strengthening an independent research profile in addition to the existing competences of the department and in the research field innovation and public law

  • Participation and independent development of research projects in the field of innovation and public law
  • National and international publication and presentation activities
  • Independent teaching of courses in German and English to the extent required by collective agreements
  • Student support
  • Participation in the research, teaching, and examination activities as well as in the administrative activities of the department
  • Participation in evaluation measures and quality assurance

Profile:

  • Doctoral degree/PhD in the field of public law
  • Academic publication activity in the field of public law
  • Practical experience in the field of public law
  • Interest in working at the intersection of innovation and public law
  • Interest in interdisciplinary and international (project) cooperation
  • Experience in the conception and independent implementation of courses in public law
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Very good ITskills
  • Ability to work in a team
Knowledge of a third EU language is an advantage.

Desirable are:
