Job Description:


Due to our continued growth in Europe we are looking to appoint Executive Assistant to support our Vice President & 2 member of our Leadership Team to further accelerate our growth.

You can be based flexibly at our Shoreditch office in London and home as required.

What will my accountabilities be?

  • Reporting to the Vice President, McDonald's Europe you will provide seamless support with calendar proactively ensuring time is effectively used for maximum efficiency.
  • Provide support to the Operations Lead & People Lead who sit on the McDonald's Europe Leadership Team.
  • Coordinate all internal communications for the Business Unit, dealing personally with our key stakeholders across Europe and senior stakeholders within McDonald's.
  • Manage correspondence for the Vice President you will ensure a smooth and efficient flow of communication and timely responses to our markets and teams.
  • Identify important calls and urgent issues which require immediate attention and ensure a timely response from the team.
  • Partner closely with the Consumer & Business Insights team you will manage and coordinate the Business Unit calendar ensuring internal and external calls and routine meetings are efficiently organized and supporting event organization.
  • Occasionally act as a point of contact and coordination to collect data from across the Business Unit.
  • Manage reimbursement of business expenses and helping to achieve best prices and value from travel arrangements.

Qualifications:

The ideal applicant will poses the following skills and attributes:

  • Written and spoken language skills in German & English
  • French is an advantage.
  • Highly developed organizational and administrative skills including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, video conferencing systems & travel booking platforms.
  • Strong Execution Proficiency, reliable in always delivering results on time.
  • A positive and proactive approach to managing a frequently changing schedule and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and a proven ability to connect with a wide range of people from different cultural backgrounds and nationalities.
  • Highly resilient, able to handle high workload and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work discreetly with sensitive information at the highest level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and enjoy collaborating across various teams, departments and time zones.
  • Well organized, resourceful, with excellent multitasking and prioritizing skills with the ability to work within tight deadlines, meet deadlines and still maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Highly Desirable:

Experience of planning international events and meetings across multiple time zones for senior attendees would be advantageous.

Good to Know:


Occasional international travel to Austria & Vienna will be a feature of this role to meet stakeholders 1-2 times per quarter.
