Job Description

Please keep in mind that the role requires you to be located in Vienna.
As an Enterprise Account Executive overlooking the CEE countries, you will be responsible for managing a diverse clientele across various industries.

The CEE region, with a strong focus on countries such as the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, the Balkans, Romania, Slovenia, and Slovakia, excludes Poland and the Baltics but also includes Greece.

This region is thriving with a solid foundation but is also undergoing rapid expansion, demanding a mix of hunting and farming skills. Our collaboration with valued partners is crucial, as we prioritize seizing business opportunities to accomplish our strategic goals.

You will collaborate across different sectors and serve all customers within these regions, working closely with the solution consulting team to deliver optimal outcomes.

Familiarity with the territory, previous experience working in the CEE region, or proficiency in the languages spoken in these areas would significantly boost your chances of success and be highly appreciated.

A background in software sales, coupled with exposure to similar sales structures, is vital for this position. Generating new business sales revenue through a SaaS licensing model will be your primary focus. This will involve account planning, territory strategizing, prospect research, implementation of business development tactics, and carrying out field sales activities within specific prospects, territories, or industries.

Key Responsibilities in this role:

  • Cultivate relationships with various C-suite personalities (e.g., CFO, CIO, COO, CDO) across all product sales
  • Manage client relationship mapping to the account team, orchestrating an account strategy while leading a broad virtual team (Solutions Consultants, Solutions Specialist, Success resources, Partners, and Marketing, etc.)
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by grasping their business needs and providing guidance on how ServiceNow can contribute to their IT strategy
  • Identify the appropriate specialist/support resources to involve in a deal, at the right moment
Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 7 years of sales experience within asoftware OR solutions sales setting
  • Excellent communication skills in English & proficiency in any other CEE language is a bonus
  • A track record of building trusted relationships with existing and potential clients, as well as other teams
  • Experience in generating new business, negotiating deals, and maintaining strong C-Level connections
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets
  • The ability to comprehend the broader context and our IT plans
  • Experience promoting a customer success-oriented approach in a collaborative team environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
  • A valid work permit for Austria is required for this position
