The Opportunity
We’vegot a rare chance for a motivated and ambitious sales professional to drivegrowth and manage key relationships with rural partners across the West Vic/EastSA region. While our brand is strong, there’s still plenty of opportunity to growthis diverse territory and establish long-term partnerships.
On aday-to-day basis you’ll be supporting our dealer network and end-users throughsales and technical support, but this isn’t your run of the mill TerritoryManager role You’ll also be looking at waysto grow the region through a strategic lens; networking, building partnerships,and running events to strengthen our brand awareness.
TheFit
We’relooking for someone who’s up for a challenge, and keen to get on the farm tounderstand our customers’ needs to deliver comprehensive, whole-solution selling of both hardware and software. This role will suit a strategic thinker who loves to solve problems from allangles, and who gets satisfaction from providing the best product solution, notjust the sale. You’ll need to be able to relate to a broad customer baseas you’ll be building relationships with local farmers, retail salespeople, farmmanagers, farm owners and corporate farms as well. More importantly you’ll have the nous to beable to sell the future of digital farming vision to our customers. In addition,you’ll also have:
- Proven sales success (agricultural sectorknowledge is a must and experience selling both hardware and software would bean advantage).
- Experience developing new business and creating strategic salesplans.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing relationshipswith key customers and dealers/resellers.
- Strong digital acumen, with knowledge of cloud-based solutions andthe ability to relay technical information.
- A hunter mindset with a drive for success and a passion forresults.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (experience presenting and running events would be anadvantage).
The successfulcandidate will ideally be located in or around either Warrnambool, Hamilton orMt Gambier areas but there is some flexibility in terms of the location as longas it’s within the territory.
