Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, Business Development EMEA and Asia in London, we are looking for someone to join the team in a leadership role to help support our business development activities in Australia. Key Responsibilities include the following:

  • Developing business with asset managers and asset owners across all aspects of asset servicing including fund administration, loan administration, custody, outsourcing, FX Overlay, banking & payments.
  • Working independently & owning the sales cycle from lead generation to closure of deals.
  • Create a prospect list and develop strategies to effectively engage those prospects.
  • Efficient use of Salesforce - log prospective clients, key influencers and logging of meeting notes.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and new products.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in Industry & Professional bodies.
  • Gather market insights and work closely with Product Development to ensure our offering is market leading.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Line of Business Heads, Marketing and Operations team members.
  • Contribute to the team effort and work on special projects
Qualifications
  • Experience working at a similar level in Fund Administration or Financial Services more broadly, with an interest in moving into business development.
  • Previous experience with alternative asset managers, asset owners, banking platforms, FX and/or global markets solutions favourable.
  • Technical understanding of alternative investment types, structures and market participants.
  • Experience working in a client facing capacity within financials services, consultancy or fintech.
  • Comfortable engaging with C-suite executives, both internally and externally.
