About the Role
Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for suitably qualified and experiencedElectrical Design Engineer to join our national projects teams.
- Manage multiple electrical design projects simultaneously, from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports, to interpreting design intent and requirements to construction teams and regulatory authorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on electrical design-related matters and providing regular project updates.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in electrical engineering and incorporate them into design solutions to enhance project efficiency and performance.
- Implement QA/QC processes to review and verify the accuracy and completeness of electrical design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Overseeing the functioning and upkeep of power stations, as well as transmission and distribution systems.
- Identify potential risks and challenges associated with electrical design elements of construction projects and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
- Full-time permanent role with a salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 (Annually).
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Engineering design Industry.
- A positive attitude and willingness to encourage co-workers.
- Understand safety procedures and recognize hazards.
