 About the role 

We are looking for an experienced Project Support Officer who can provide smooth and seamless support to our Engagement & Project Managment team at our Golden Plains Wind Farm Site office in Rokewood, south of Ballarat. The role is a two-year full-time contract. Remote working arrangements are not available due to the role requirements, and we'd love to find someone who lives locally to join the team. 

This successful applicant for this role will be responsible for providing a professional, welcoming presence, and delivering a high level of customer service to our staff, landholders, contractors and community members. 

We are a small business doing big things, and we each wear lots of hats in our work. Your week will be diverse, supporting communications, and community engagement as well as landholder documentation and communication plus general office support. 

 The role will include: 

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT 

  • Assist the Community Engagement Manager with: 
  • Community Benefits Programs. 
  • Respond to ad hoc community enquiries in a timely manner. 
  • Ensure all community communication is accurately entered into the associated databases. 
  • Staff the community shopfront when required. 
  • The planning and execution of community events. 
  • Community updates and social media in conjunction with the Marketing and Communications Team. 
  • Other duties, as required. 

 LANDOWNER ENGAGEMENT 

  • Assist the Landowner Liaison Manager with: 
  • Landowner lease administration 
  • The coordination of contractor access to landowner’s properties. 
  • Ensure all associated data entry is entered accurately into the databases. 
  • Other duties, as required. 

 OFFICE ADMINISTRATION  

  • Assist with site tours. 
  • Ensure site office supplies are maintained at appropriate levels. 
  • Assist project team members with general administration tasks 
  • Other administrative tasks as required. 

 You will need to be capable and confident in your communication, outcome driven with initiative, and proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
