Position Overview:
As the State Specification Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving sales through specification with architects, engineers, and developers. You'll develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, influence specifications, and ensure our products are the preferred choice for waterproofing solutions across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to increase specification and sales of waterproofing products across Victoria.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, engineers, specifiers, and developers to influence specifications and secure project approvals.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure alignment and support in achieving sales targets.
- Provide technical expertise and support to specifiers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth.
- Conduct product presentations, seminars, and training sessions to educate specifiers on the features and benefits of our products.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in specification sales within the construction or building materials industry, preferably in waterproofing.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and strong business acumen.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Victoria as required.
