The role
Our team is growing quickly and with the current incumbent transferring to a newly created Software Development Manager role within the business, we are looking to backfill the Project Manager position. In this capacity, the successful applicant will plan and oversee projects within the business, from the initial concept through to completion. Projects vary and could include overseeing the implementation of a new IT system through to managing a new contract to go live.

You will contribute and make an impact through:
- The end-to-end management of major and minor projects across the EasyPark ANZ business.
- Understanding stakeholder requirements and developing and maintaining high quality project plans, schedules and registers to ensure the delivery of a range of project elements (time, cost and quality).
- Predicting resource requirements to achieve project objectives and holding these resources accountable for project deliverables.
- Building and maintaining effective internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure satisfactory delivery outcomes.
- Building trust and integrity, by consistently applying ethical actions, transparent communications and commitments with internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing the administration of specific project financial budgets to ensure an effective balance between service delivery and expenses in accordance with financial obligations and stakeholder expectations.
- Preparing regular status reporting and any ad hoc reports and information as required by/for management and clients. This includes milestone achievement along with potential delays, roadblocks, risks and issues to be addressed to achieve project success.
- Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
- Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and handover of the process or system to the business/client.
- Managing client satisfaction and concerns within the end-to-end project period.
We don’t think that one size fits all, but the successful candidate would ideally have the following:
- A tertiary qualification in Project Management or related discipline is required.
- A minimum of 5+ years' experience in project management, particularly in infrastructure and technology projects is essential.
- Experience working in a similar role within the parking industry would be hugely advantageous. As would experience working within the public sector and/or local government.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects and teams of cross-functional resources.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practice.
- A proven ability to communicate and engage effectively across a team is a must. As are organisational skills and very high levels of attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and influencing skills and ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated project management and organisational skills and experience, including the ability to implement and drive processes, manage priorities and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
