With studios in LA, NY, Amsterdam, and Australia, we build modern brands through world-class strategy, design, and advertising. 72andSunny ANZ is five years young and fast building a reputation in the ANZ market as a highly creative, innovative, and future-focused company. We are now looking to bring on a Business Development Director to help shape the future of 72andSunny ANZ. This is an outbound business development role, and we will consider both full-time and part-time.
Role Purpose:A proactive, connected, and dynamic networker, the Business Development Director for 72andSunny ANZ will build upon and grow our new business pipeline by generating qualified, solid new business leads to help shape the success of the agency. You will also play a key role in strengthening our presence in the ANZ market through modern new business strategies.
About the Role:- Identifying client partners in Australia and NZ that are aligned to the growth strategy of the business
- Tapping into your personal network to unlock new business opportunities for 72andSunny, as well as making new connections with potential future client partners
- Networking with potential new partners with the ultimate goal of securing meetings with the 72andSunny ANZ leadership team, project briefs, or a place on pitch lists
- Developing a solid understanding of the 72andSunny ANZ brand and business to become a champion of who we are and what we do
- Attending networking and industry events on behalf of the agency to further grow contact opportunities and identify new areas in which we can do this
- Acting as an internal consultant on new business pitches & RFPs internally, as appropriate
- Becoming a thought leader for 72andSunny ANZ, contributing to our external voice within the industry
7+ years experience in the Advertising or Marketing sector within ANZ with a strong focus on new business, sales, and/or client relationships. Highly connected within the advertising and marketing industry with a great network to tap into. A confident and approachable manner coupled with the ability to hold skilled conversations at the senior client level. Able to instantly build rapport and genuine two-way relationships. A natural networker - outgoing, positive, and with infectious energy. You are a modern thinker, a natural optimist, and have an entrepreneurial flair.
