Property Service Officer – Gardening and Grounds

CREST Education comprises two independent, coeducational schools with over 2,200 students, an Equestrian Centre and an Environmental Reserve at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) World School, with modern facilities at Clyde North. It is a growing College, adding a new year level each year; our first Year 11 classes commence in 2024.

CREST Education has an exciting new opportunity, commencing immediately, as a Grounds person in the Property Services Department servicing both Colleges.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Have a demonstrated capacity in gardening and property maintenance
  • Certificate III in Parks and Gardens highly regarded, but not essential
  • Sound knowledge of standard grounds maintenance equipment
  • Experience with zero turn mowers highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills and a sound knowledge of WHS in the workplace
  • Experience with weed control including chemical application, accreditation highly regarded
  • The necessary energy, fitness and co-ordination to be able to participate in practical work;
  • Punctuality, reliability, and strong teamwork abilities
  • the ability to be a positive Christian role model for young people.
