Financial Analyst

- Salary up to $125,000 + super for the right candidate.
T+O+M Executive and Iare working closely with an established, large family owned FMCG group to recruit an experienced Commercial Analyst with exceptional business partnering skills.This Australian business has been growing significantly with further growth plans over the next 5 years.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and Head of Sales, the Commercial Analyst will play a key role in business partnering with sales, marketing and operational stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to assess profitability, competitor performance, market trends and viability of business initiatives.
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis in liaison with relevant senior stakeholders.
- Analysis of financial performance of projects and provide commercial insights from variance analysis for cross-functional stakeholders in sales, marketing and operational teams.
- Analyze and provide commentary on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to drive performance improvements.
- Assist to develop pricing strategies through optimized data-driven analysis.
- Recognize risks and opportunities within the capex projects.
- Ad hoc analysis as required by the senior management.
- Continuous improvements of analysis and reporting.
About You:
- CA or CPA qualification with over 4 years of FP&A or Commercial Analysis experience.
- Confident communication skills and problem-solving ability.
- Full and permanent work rights in Australia.
