- Administer medications and treatments according to resident care plans.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in meaningful interactions and activities.
- Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring the health and well-being of residents.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or changes in residents' conditions, providing appropriate interventions and notifying supervisors or physicians as necessary.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
- Document all care provided accurately and timely in residents' medical records, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care plans are implemented.
- Valid AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience in Residential Aged Care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
- COVID and FLU vaccinations completed
