Head of Civil Engineering

£75,000 plus package

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Chartered Civil Engineer who is looking to make a strategic career move where you can demonstrate your talents and take this firm to the next level.

Our client is an established name in multidiscipline engineering and they are seeking a dynamic and motivational leader to make a significant impact on the growth and success of the office. Liaising with leadership from all offices, you will contribute towards the company’s vision for the future, impacting on the route taken.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the civil engineering division, overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from concept design through to construction and completion
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
  • Leading and mentoring a team of talented civil engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of performance and technical excellence
  • Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure seamless integration of civil engineering projects with other disciplines such as structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and environmental engineering
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain the firm’s competitive edge
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and quality control procedures

Requirements:

  • A degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  • A Chartered Engineer status with a recognized professional engineering body
  • Strong technical expertise in civil engineering, with a track record of successful project delivery across a diverse range of projects
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve outstanding results
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners,
