The Department
The overarching vision of the Digital Health division is to enable “easy access to person-centred, smart and connected quality care”. The Digital Health division is responsible for enabling clinical staff to deliver timely, quality care to our patients and carers through innovative use of information technologies, and through strategic management of information, data and research across the organisation. It is also progressively developing and supporting initiatives to enable patients to also use digital health innovations to support their own care and health management.
The Role
The Program Manager, Transformation will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Digital Health Transformation and Digital Health Senior Leadership Team with digital strategy formulation, roadmap development and business planning, to partner and deliver on strategic IT/business goals and operating objectives. In addition, this role will be responsible for the coordination, governance and delivery of capability uplift initiatives across the transformation program of work to lead the new operating model design and implementation of a digital transformation mandate, with particular focus on modernising ways of working across the Digital Health division.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Strong educational background with a Master’s degree in ICT, business, commerce, finance, economics, or a related field, with a preference for an MBA, or related equivalent technology or strategy / business discipline
- Previous digital / IT strategy and technology governance experience in government, financial services or healthcare, coupled with some knowledge and understanding of architectural frameworks and principles
- Demonstrable management consulting or corporate strategy experience, within a professional services environment or in-house strategy team or as part of similar business planning, process improvement and corporate governance roles
- Formal enterprise portfolio management (SPM / LPM, PfMP, Agile PgMP, PMP, P30, MOP, MSP or Prince 2 Agile) and / or equivalent knowledge of lean-agile change methodologies
- Adept with strategic analysis, OKR management and process improvement methodologies, and tools such as value chain analysis, scenario modelling, PESTLE, SWOT, DMAIC, balanced scorecard reporting etc.
- Prior experience in designing multi-stakeholder complex strategic IT operating model re-design / transformation programs, service design and process improvement initiatives
