Our client, a leading luxury construction company, is seeking an enthusiastic HR Manager to join their team in a full-time capacity at their Parramatta location. This role works closely with the General Manager as part of the leadership team and is being joined by a newly created Talent Acquisition Manager role.

About The Role

As the HR Manager, you will manage a variety of HR functions, ensuring the smooth operation of HR activities while contributing to the company’s growth. You will be integral to maintaining and enhancing company culture, policies, and procedures, providing a positive and productive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, collaborating with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
