Customer Marketing Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced growth orientated Customer Marketing Manager, who is data-driven, action orientated, and passionate about creating best in class omni-channel client journeys. Reporting to the Marketing Director, and part of the marketing team based in our modern offices in North Sydney, we offer the flexibility to work under a hybrid work model.

As part of the Sonova Group, Sonova Audiological Care Australia has two client facing brands: Connect Hearing and Neurosensory. Under these brands we have a national network of hearing clinics which provide client-focused hearing healthcare to all Australians. What will you be doing?

Client Growth

  • Analyse & segment our client database using Power BI to gain a deep understanding of our growth opportunities.
  • Drive day to day conversion of leads, working collaboratively across marketing, the call centre, and operations to finalise the sale.
  • Optimise all touchpoints through the funnel to drive performance improvements.
  • Work within our short term system limitations, and support the implementation of new system solutions.

Customer Management Strategy

  • Apply global best practices locally.
  • Develop best in class customer management strategies, segmentation, and journeys.
  • Establish CRM contact rules and comply with data privacy regulations.

Marketing Activities

  • Plan and execute marketing activities within budget.
  • Use A/B testing to optimize channels and creative.
  • Collaborate with agencies and internal teams for seamless execution.
  • Meet monthly marketing targets for client segments.
  • Improve contact rates through omni-channel strategies.
  • Report performance and provide improvement recommendations.

Stakeholder Relationships

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Participate in marketing planning sessions and collaborate globally.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related field.
  • 10 years plus experience as a CRM expert in complex services industries; healthcare preferably, or alternatively insurance, financial services, higher-end retail or similar.
  • Strong sales mindset with a drive to chase performance daily.
  • Seeks answers through data mining, providing insights and supporting actions to mobilise quickly.
  • ‘Owns the whole’; works collaboratively internally and externally with partners to drive lead conversion through the funnel.
  • Hands-on expertise in CRM platforms, with MS Dynamics an advantage
  • Multi-channel CRM experience across direct mail, email, SMS, and call centre
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Agility, with high attention to detail, exceptional process & time management skills
  • A ‘can-do’, hands on, pragmatic, & helpful attitude, with an ability to calmly problem-solve.
  • Strong interpersonal & negotiating skills: able to chase down requirements to meet deadlines, while still maintaining positive relationships.
  • High level of competency in Power BI (or comparable reporting platform), Excel, CRM Microsoft Dynamics and/or other automated marketing tools.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced matrix environment in global environment, including attending some meetings across different time zones.
