Senior Project Officer, Reports - Office of the ADG - Reviews, Curriculum, Teaching and Learning

School and Region Reviews is looking for a Senior Project Officer, Reports to support the school reviews process through implementation and monitoring of school and region review programs and processes, high qualityediting, exceptional relational skills to provide ongoing feedback to stakeholders, and a strong commitment to school improvement to ensure all students and young people are realising their potential.

School and Region Reviews supports continuous improvement in Queensland state delivered kindergartens, state schools and education centres providing leadership and oversight for the program of school and emerging system and place-based reviews.

Your Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Review content for review reports and other documentation in order to ensure accuracy in content and alignment with relevant legislation and policies, as well as departmental visual and style guides.
  • Support ongoing feedback within the team and to internal stakeholders to ensure reports are edited consistently, within timeframes and implement improvements to processes and procedures.
  • You will monitor and maintain program documentation to track progress, analyse data and prepare reports to Senior Officers in relation to timelines, quality assurance processes, and feedback.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships in order to effectively communicate with stakeholders and where necessary prepare written correspondence and messages, develop templates and manage surveys.
  • Prepare briefing material, submissions, papers and progress reports.

About You:

  • Ability to be highly organised, work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines;
  • Strong written communication skills and an ability to quickly establish and maintain quality working relationships;
  • Experience and confidence in leading oversight of program/project activities including tracking and reporting to senior officers;
  • Ability to provide and receive feedback effectively to enhance team outcomes; and
  • Eager to learn new skills and apply these in a range of situations.
