This is a foundation level role and you will be entering the Commercial Construction project sector working with a very top tier builder who build a variety of medium to large scale building projects ($5M - $150M+). You will be working with some of the industries best Construction professionals who will provide you a springboard into the Commercial Construction industry.

Who will you be working for?
You'll be joining one of Australia's most prominent Commercial Building Head Contractors, highly regarded across Australia, who have a significant footprint here in Melbourne. They deliver a variety of projects within the government and institutional project setting. Locally they deliver in excess of $300M projects annually, employing over 100 staff.

Your job
In this role you will be working full time, including every 2nd or 3rd Saturday morning - it'll be early starts and long days, as you soak up all the experiences you need to make a success of your career.
You will be based on Site, working closely with Senior Site Manager, Foreman, Project Engineers and liaising regularly with Contract Administration and Project Management functions.
You will be supporting all site based functions, under the direction of the Site team - from sub-contractor management, quality, RFI's, documentation, monitor progress and sequencing of works - and anything in between.

- Degree OR trade qualification in a relevant construction discipline
- Be within the early stages of your career, understanding this is a long term, growth job opportunity.
- Some exposure to commercial building project is sought
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Essential)
- Commitment to working collaboratively in a team environment - fitting in and adding value to the team, is a major measure of your suitability
- Hold Permanent Residency or be an Australian Citizen
- A great positive attitude and the willingness to listen, learn and put in the time to 'master' the role
