About the Role:

There is a great opportunity for a reliable, motivated and committed person to join the team at our Newbridge Office in Victoria. What makes this role exciting is that, being a new site, you will have the opportunity to set the standards for the Quality processes and make your mark within the company.

The position is a QC & Lab role whereby you will be providing all aspects of lab support and quality functions for Potting Mix batches and organic products during manufacture and prior to despatch, including sample testing, raw material inspection, temperature monitoring, internal auditing, result analysis and data store, filing and lab cleanliness. This role will also be required to provide support for the Quality Assurance Officers in SA and VIC with the implementation of their duties including but not limited to accreditations, trial work and process improvement initiatives. 

Our ideal candidate will have:
•A ‘can do’ attitude.
•Interest in the Horticulture, Agriculture, Science and/or Quality Control.
•Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable but not required.
•Demonstrate critical thinking.
•Displayed ability to work as a member of a team, demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, customer focus and a willingness to learn.
•High attention to detail and process driven.
•Previous work experience in horticulture, agriculture or a laboratory desirable.
•Strong communication skills.
•High level computer skills.
•Good personal presentation and professional outlook.
•Commitment to Bio Gro's safety, environmental and quality assurance policies and company values.
