About the Role:
The purpose of this position is to support Project Managers, Site Managers, Project Engineers and the broader project team through effective administration of Engineer, Procure, Construct (EPC) project activities. The position encompasses a broad range of responsibilities supporting Contract Administration, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Project close out.
In this role you will deliver:
• Develop Project documentation and progress reports following the organisational templates and manage changes during Project Delivery
• Act as the liaison between site-based staff, the Project Manager and contractors where appropriate, actively solving problems and managing risk.
• Support the project team with procurement activities, including preparation of documentation such as requests for quotation, offer evaluations and supplier recommendations.
• Support the Project Manager in collating information and preparing notices and claims.
• Assist with subcontractor onboarding including collection and collation of HSE information.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective delivery of goods and services.
To succeed in this role you will have:
• Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, project management, engineering, law or construction (or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience in supporting project management.
• Demonstrated ability to apply project management principles, preferably in engineering, construction and/or infrastructure environments.
• Demonstrated commitment to a positive Health & Safety culture and practice.
• Knowledge of project management and contract administration principles.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
