We are looking for experienced casual Aged Care Support Workers to join our Centre-Based programs in Meadow Heights, Craigieburn, and Mill Park to:
- Developing and facilitating group programs that best suit the client’s needs and goals.
- Provide direct support for individuals during program delivery such as personal care, behavioural, physical, and social supports.
- Create a positive environment for all clients promoting both physical and emotional well-being.
- Provide quality services and outcomes, by the relationships formed between staff, the people we support, their families and representatives.
- Providing emotional support by talking to clients about their needs and listening to their concerns
Bring your great, everyday
To be considered for this rewarding role you will have:
- Certificate IV Disability/Aged Care or Individual Support, or currently working towards a relevant qualification
- Understanding of what is involved in working with aged care
- Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families
- Excellent time management, problem solving, communication and computer skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team to create a positive culture
The fine print
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check, International Police Check (if applicable), hold a valid WWCC.
- Full driver license and travel between sites required.
- Experience and ability to drive DPV Health Buses (11-seater)
- Level 2 First Aid Certificate
