Job Summary:

Kapital is assisting one of our leading financial services clients in the search for 2 experienced Senior Project Managers / Program Managers, one contract and one FTE. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in financial and capital markets, trading and derivatives and a proven track record of managing complex transformation projects. This role requires excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills to effectively oversee and drive projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they meet financial, operational and strategic objectives.
 
Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in project management within the financial services industry across financial and capital markets on derivative trading platform upgrades and implementations.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, derivatives products and trading systems.
  • Ideally international investment banking experience
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Lead the relationships with internal and external project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensure all projects comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Manage vendor engagement
  • Manage the platform and system integration
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including project kick-offs, status updates, and post-mortems.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, issues, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Allocate resources appropriately and manage project team performance.
  • Utilize knowledge of capital markets and derivatives to guide project teams and stakeholders through the delivery process.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex financial market transformation projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello).
