Goodyear Autocare Gungahlin is a long established and respected business with an enviable reputation for customer service. Goodyear Gungahlin is also the current Goodyear Autocare National Franchisee of the Year winner.The business specialises in tyres, rims, ACT road worthy inspections, servicing and a range of vehicle repairs.From senior and highly experienced mechanics, through to apprentices and work experience students, we have a very diverse and committed team capable of delivering a wide range of automotive services.The successful applicant will work closely with the business owner and the store manager to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Qualifications & experience
- Qualifications as a Licenced Motor Mechanic are essential for the role.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage however is not essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Meet and greet customers dropping off vehicles for service or repairs. Ensure service or repair work is completed as requested by the customer or identified following diagnostics.
- Provide existing and potential new customers with quotations for services or repairs.
- Manage a small team of mechanics responsible for completing service work or repairs.
- Develop strong relationships with parts suppliers. Order parts as required for the mechanics to complete all bookings on time.
- Liaise with customers as required throughout the day to ensure they are informed of timeliness of their repairs and any additional works required.
- Liaise with customers when picking up vehicles to ensure they are fully informed of the works carried out and any additional future works that may be required.
- Assist the rest of the team with customer enquiries and sales.
