About the role 

We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a ICT Applications Support Specialist to join Icon Water. It is reporting to Icon Water’s Applications Support Lead and is responsible for providing technical and administration support services.

About your new role

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Provide 2nd level support for Icon Water’s applications including Oracle Works and Asset Management and the Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
  • Undertake access management activities in line with Icon Water policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical administration for Oracle Suite of applications (WAM, SOA and MWM)
  • Plan and implement upgrades and small and medium complexity enhancements inline with change and release processes.
  • Manage and configure SharePoint sites including, publishing and team sites, lists, libraries, metadata standards and security groups.
  • Daily management of applications including monitoring, capacity, incident and event management.
  • Deliver a consistent process for incident and problem escalation along with resolution in line with relevant processes.
  • Maintain a highly secure system through appropriate configuration and system access monitoring.
  • Manage external providers to meet required outcomes of 3rd level support when responding to various incidents and requests.
  • Keep apprised of application product updates and the impact to Icon Water’s environment.
  • Perform other duties within the employee’s skill, competence and training.
  • Support out of hours changes through participation in an on-call roster.

Our ideal candidate will possess

  • Tertiary Degree in Information Technology. 
  • 2-5 years of experience in Application development or an IT support role.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, developing and maintaining a applications. 
  • Experience with Oracle SQL and DBMS .
  • Experience in providing system support services to resolve user problems including training.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and expand breadth of knowledge in applications portfolio aligning with the organisation’s goals.
  • Exposure to Cloud Technologies or Infrastructure an advantage. 
  • Experience in integration development and support (Highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Utility products desirable.
  • Experience in Power BI or Power Apps or Power Automate desirable.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and relevant Microsoft certifications desirable.
