About the roleWe’re seeking a Senior Planning and Agile Lead to support and deliver the scaled approach to contemporary ways of working across Transurban technology teams. You’ll join an innovative team that has a goal to uplift maturity across the Technology Services and Platforms teams in formalised ways of working and planning cadence. As our Senior Planning and Agile Lead, you’ll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Support the strategic planning process for the TS&P leadership team
- Provide insights on the backlog, interdependencies across teams within the group and across the enterprise
- Support impact assessments and provide advice
- Manage and play a key role in planning for the Quarterly Planning days
- Own and embed our agile ways of working across the Technology Services and Platforms teams
- Support planning and facilitation of Agile ceremonies across the portfolio
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:
- Experience leading delivery and implementing change in a complex organisation
- Strong experience in planning, prioritising and organising work for self and others to achieve goals and meet delivery milestones
- Experience in leading teams/squads within an Agile environment
- Experience in running and coordinating cross-functional planning events
- Excellent personal communication and consultation skills appropriate for all levels of the organisation, including a proven ability to prepare effective reports, address delivery metrics and facilitate groups
