Details: The Communications and Engagement Division in the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate is recruiting for the role of Executive Officer.
This senior position leads a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment to provide support to the Executive Group Manager, including strategic advice and coordination of CMTEDD C&E project and reporting obligations, secretariat support for key forums and networks, oversight, tracking and triage of incoming requests for support and coordination of the Executive Group Managers projects. This role would also help to achieve consistency and coordination of C&E best practice across the ACT Government under the principle of ‘One Government, One Voice’.
This role requires a self-motivated, detail orientated person with strong time management and effective organisational skills, with the ability to think laterally, work under pressure and achieve deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or a minimum of five years’ experience working professionally in a C&E environment preferred.
- Previous experience supervising staff is preferred.
Notes: This is a temporary position available Immediately for a period of 12 months with possibility of extension and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
