This role is all about customer service. The ideal person for this role is someone who lives and breathes customer service, staff training and mentorship and quality improvement in everything they doThis role oversees the HR Service Desk, the front line of customer service to all employees within the ACT Government. Our dedicated customer service staff handle phone calls and chats day in and day out providing much needed advice and information on anything from leave entitlements to salary queries, salary packaging and recruitment processes and functions. The Director of the HR Service Desk must be a jack of all trades, an all-rounder if you will; has an understanding of how a service desk operates and functions, has a strong passion for providing exceptional customer service, has commitment to quality improvement and problem resolution and who carries an absolute dedication to training and mentoring practices, current and innovative recruitment strategies, who wants to see their immediate and surrounding teams thrive and grow to become the next ACTPS leaders.You will be a team player who enjoys a large team environment and who actively contributes to the prosperity of not only this immediate team but also the Division as a whole.If this sounds like you, then we want to hear from you.Notes:
This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.How to Apply:
