The Access Canberra Digital Design and Delivery section enables Access Canberra’s effective and secure use of technology in delivering digital services to the community. Working in partnership with the operational business units and policy areas, the section leads the design and delivery of digital solutions as well as supporting the agency’s critical business systems.
We are looking for a Program Manager to work as part of our Portfolio Management team to deliver a suite of ICT projects that seek to modernise legacy systems and provide an enhanced end-user experience. The right person will have great leadership, stakeholder engagement and communications skills, with demonstrable experience in delivering projects and programs in a software development lifecycle context.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements:
- Relevant certification in project management methodologies (e.g., Prince 2, Agile, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly desirable.
- Competency in the use of relevant Project Management tools and techniques.
Note: This is a temporary position available 1 July 2024 until 30 June 2025 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Please note, this position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
