Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Broker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both commercial and residential lending, a strong understanding of the Canberra property market, and a proven track record of securing finance for a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess clients’ financial situations and provide tailored lending solutions for both residential and commercial needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a wide network of lenders, including banks, credit unions, and private lenders.
  • Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Keep up-to-date with market trends, property values, and economic factors affecting lending.
  • Provide ongoing support and advice to clients post-settlement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance broking, with a focus on both residential and commercial lending.
  • Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership with MFAA, FBAA, or other relevant professional bodies.
  • Strong knowledge of the Canberra property market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
