We are seeking a strong consulting leader to support the growth and success of our Data & Analytics practice. Directors are accountable for setting the strategic direction of the practice by taking accountability of delivery excellence, sales, recruiting, account management, and business operations.

The purpose of our D&A practice is to build a better future with Data. Through trusted partnership with our clients, we co-create modern data solutions that drive results and improve the world. Joining our team will present you with an opportunity to partner with our clients to learn from their data, create incredible digital experiences, and make the most of ML and analytics. We blend design, engineering, and expertise to help them build the future.

Responsibilities

  • Practice Building – Drive overall growth of practice area through a combination of business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership.
  • Team & Individual Development – Maximize team performance through an effective team approach that increases productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Engagement Management – Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
  • Identifies opportunities for growth and maturation of Data and Analytics offerings
  • Provides oversight and governance of all sold and managed Data and Analytics projects
  • Drives business development with the proper information, tools, and subject matter expertise to sell engagements within the offering.
  • Builds and develops relationship / partnership with local market teams, aligning on sales pursuits, resource capacity and capabilities, and awareness across the region.
  • Builds and develops relationships with technology partners and owns joint sales pursuits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive experience, preferably in consulting management, with at least 14+ years consulting specifically data and analytics strategy, architecture and solution delivery resulting in clear client business outcomes
  • P&L experience from a comparably sized consulting firm
  • Broad data and analytics experiences across data strategy, data architecture, data governance, visualizations, AI/ML, legacy data platforms and modern could data stack
  • Deep expertise in defining, architecting, and delivering modern cloud data stack based data and analytical solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud, as well as Snowflake or databricks based cloud data platforms, and other related platforms and services part of the modern data stack
  • Proven history of leveraging and growing existing client base; organic business development responsibilities, i.e. growing new accounts/clients from the ground up.
  • A demonstrated track record of successful consulting engagement management experience in Agile/Scrum environments; including directing and growing other staff members and having a major role in managing and interfacing with senior-level client executives.
