We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-driven personality to join our national business development team to support and feed our production facility based in Bibra Lake (WA).
This role will service the WA, SA & NT, responsible for growing new business along with maintaining and servicing existing accounts.
About the role:
- Establish relationships by understanding the customers requirements
- Plan & present tailored solutions based on customer enquiries
- Prospect for new customers and convert this to increased business
- Grow & retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions to customers
- Establish & build solid relationships with all customers
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of the market & product solutions we can provide
- Collaboratively engage with internal colleagues to meet customer needs
- Cross referencing customers with colleagues in different part of the country
- Prepare regular sales performance reports & business calls, including CRM reporting
- Prepare tenders & quotes in line with our pricing policy
- Participate in setting annual sales budgets
- Achieve budgeted sales targets and GP margins
- Regional and overnight travel required
About you:
Knowledge of Industrial applications or fluid power industry would be advantageous; however general industrial sales experience would be essential.
- Knowledge of the WA market in industrial services would be ideal but advantageous
- Strong sales skills with commitment to a high level of customer service
- Able to undertake state travel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and solid organisation skills
- Resilient and exceptional relationship management skills
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and KPI's
- Ability to communicate with engineering, maintenance and service orientated clientele.
