About the Role
The Procurement Manager role, reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer will form an exciting opportunity for someone looking to step up into a Procurement Manager role or be a seasoned professional looking for a change. This role is essential to our continued growth plans with a heavy focus on ensuring our supplier relationships are maintained and contractual arrangements are managed, along with:
- Creating the framework and tender process from which to select and contract suppliers.
- Preparation and Management of Tender Processes
- A focus on achieving Commercial Excellence whilst controlling costs.
- Ensure balance when selecting suppliers between Splend’s requirements and those of our customers.
- Assist in developing Splend’s Hub (Operational Sites) Strategy
- Assist in negotiating terms to acquire or lease Splend Hubs and managing lease expiry dates.
- Assist in developing and operationalising new Splend sites.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar position
- Degree in Commerce (Business, Finance, Economics or Procurement) preferred.
- Proven experience in managing supplier relationships.
- Proven experience in creating and managing contractual arrangements.
- Experience in managing property leases and property development (desirable).
- Experience within Fleet Management or rental car business (desirable).
- You’ll be a team player with a high level of business acumen and analytical skills
- Advanced level in Excel
- Strong communication skills and confident in engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to present data in a concise manner
- Comfortable with an in office working environment
