Their expertise in carbon credits, offset programs, and comprehensive carbon management strategies sets them apart. As part of their dynamic Corporate Solutions team, they are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to spearhead their mission in supporting clients through innovative solutions. If you're passionate about making a tangible impact on the environment and driving sustainable business practices, this is the role for you.

As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding the firm's client base and strengthening their market position. You'll work closely with businesses to understand their sustainability challenges and objectives, delivering tailor-made solutions that align with their net zero ambitions. This is part of their strategic growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to penetrate new markets and acquire new clients, focusing on carbon credit solutions and offset programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across various industries, understanding their unique needs and offering customized carbon management solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Solutions team to develop innovative offerings that meet the evolving demands of the market and support clients' sustainability goals.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in the carbon markets to advise clients effectively and position the company as a leader in the field.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and workshops to enhance the firm's visibility and leadership in the carbon markets.

About You:

  • Proven track record in business development, preferably in the carbon markets, sustainability consulting, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of carbon credits, offset programs, and the broader landscape of carbon markets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for sustainability and a drive to deliver impactful solutions to clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business, Economics, or related fields.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and dedication to driving business growth.
