The role
Due to internal promotion, there is currently an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team on a 12 month contract to start ASAP.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will partner stakeholders and ensure robust financial management of the capital investment portfolio.
You will be responsible for coordinating and managing forecasts, reporting, analysis, decision support, presentations and communication to senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provides strategic financial analysis and commercial recommendations in relation to capital investment
- Key Business Partner to the GM's on the capital portfolio
- Oversee the rolling forecast processes across the business, providing challenge, insight, and support to the business through the process
- Support consolidating the capital portfolio corporate plans and reforecasts as well as long term strategic planning
- Oversee, provide input, and review capital submissions to ensure business case proposition aligns with corporate strategy
- Partner with the business to provide analytical insights based on financial and operational data enabling leaders to understand the underlying drivers and key trend items
- CA/CPA qualified
- Prior experience as a Finance Business Partner within a large corporate
- Advanced excel and strong financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in financial management of projects or a capital intensive environment advantageous
