Contract Length: Initial 6-Month Contract
Are you ready to lead transformative digital initiatives that drive change and innovation? Our client, a dynamic organisation at the forefront of digital transformation in the public sector, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to spearhead their IT Digital Transformation Programs.
About the Role: As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our client's IT Digital Transformation Programs.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading the IT Digital Transformation Programs, overseeing staff management and resource allocation within the team.
- Identifying and engaging key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and end-users.
- Defining project plans, creating timelines, and establishing milestones to track progress.
- Ensuring that all IT Digital Transformation Projects within the program are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
- Managing program-level financials and addressing any variations to allocated budgets.
- Overseeing the program-level resource model to ensure that projects within the program have the appropriate staffing and resources.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for vendor account management activities.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience working in local government
- Strong leadership skills, team management, and mentoring experience.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies.
- Extensive industry experience in project and/or program management.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, effective communication, negotiation, and vendor collaboration.
- Financial acumen for program-level budget allocation, tracking, and decision-making.
