Mermaid Property Services is one of Victoria's market leaders in cleaning and maintenance services. We are passionate about providing our clients with professional and comprehensive services ensuring that their facilities are always immaculate and maintained at a high level.
Due to continued growth within the business, we are looking for a Bid-Manager to join the Mermaid team to assist in composing compelling proposals and bids that captivate and inspire prospective clients, ultimately contributing to the acquisition of new business opportunities
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for-
- Lead the end-to-end bid process, including kick-off meetings, proposal development, and submission.
- Working closely with internal staff, and other stakeholders to develop compelling proposals that address client needs and differentiate the company from competitors.
- Develop and implement effective bid strategies to maximize the company's chances of success, considering factors such as pricing, technical solutions, and win themes.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with bids, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Conduct reviews and quality checks on bid documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of bid processes and tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide regular updates and reports on bid activities, including status updates, win/loss analysis, and performance metrics.
- Assisting with marketing material and online media, such as LinkedIn content and website updates.
- Leading the bid process, managing stakeholder expectations, and constantly looking for areas of improvement.
The skills and experience you will need are:
- Excellent organisational management skills
- Experience writing and editing content ensuring a professional tone, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
- In-design knowledge; design experience will be considered a plus.
- Meticulous attention to detail, creativity and use of own inititative.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
