Join our dynamic team at St. Augustine's Long Day Care and Kindergarten in Augustine Heights as a Group Leader Are you passionate about creating a safe and stimulating environment for children? Do you thrive on encouraging their interests and fostering their ideas? If so, we want you Experience in daily programming is a must, as you'll be shaping enriching experiences for our little ones every day. Collaborate with families and colleagues to deliver tailored programs that cater to the unique needs of each child. If you're bursting with energy and eager to support the growth and development of children, we'd love to hear from you

Hours: Full-time - 38 hours per week

Remuneration: as per the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010. Level 4.1 to Level 4.3 depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an exceptional, inclusive educational curriculum.
  • Nurture children's growth and development, ensuring they learn and enjoy themselves in a joyful, secure environment.
  • Engage in ongoing professional and personal growth opportunities.
  • Advocate for our service within the local community, aligning with Catholic Early EdCare's values and educational ethos.

Job Requirements:
  • Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard
  • Effective workplace communication skills
