Marketing Manager

Our client is an industry-leading provider of specialised Material Handling Solutions locally and internationally. Their mission is to provide customers with innovative, quality, practical solutions that improve their workplace and processes.
Since it was founded 25 years ago, they have provided products and services to a wide range of industry sectors and environments, including Manufacturing, Logistics, Mining, Defence, and Government Organisations. Recent strategic affiliations have given the business a global footprint and enhanced its ability to provide greater customer service nationally.
Your main objective will be to drive growth for the business by creating and managing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and enterprise value and specifically generate leads for the account management and business development teams.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the marketing team and managing budgets and targets
- Developing marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
- Ensuring marketing activity is focused on brand awareness that drives new customer lead generation
- Leading the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging support and driving collaboration both internally and externally
- Analysing customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to inform successful marketing strategies
- Managing a small team, nurturing and overseeing their workload to optimise their growth
- Working closely with the account management and business development teams to develop campaigns/activities that engage existing and new customer relationships.
Your activities will include:
- Developing creative briefs and guiding creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
- Planning, executing, and managing all digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media
- Conceptualise and execute multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels
- Work with and manage a team of writers, marketers, and other stakeholders to maintain the company’s brand and drive engagement
- Gather ongoing customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
- Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimise accordingly
- Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.
- Prepare reports and analytics on the overall performance of various marketing campaigns, including ROIs and KPIs.
Required skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a B2B marketing role
- A background in executing marketing strategies with a particular focus on digital marketing, in line with business goals
- A track record of driving international sales through effective marketing activity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong people and project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity
- Experience with digital marketing, automation, and CRM tools
- The ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures
- The skills and approach to successfully work under pressure.
